Privacy Policy
Kiri is built to be quiet about you. Here is exactly what we store, what we don't, and the single cookie we set. This policy covers askkiri.com, the Kiri application and Ask Kiri (together, the "Service").
Who is responsible for what
For your own account details (your name, email, billing), we decide how the data is used. For the information you put in your workspace about other people, such as tenants, guests, leads and owners, you decide, and we only process it on your behalf and on your instructions. If you are a tenant or guest and want to see, correct or delete what a landlord holds about you, please ask that landlord; we will help them answer.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, workspace name and team members.
- Workspace data: what you enter or upload, such as properties, tenants and guests, leases, rent records, maintenance, documents, listings and messages.
- Billing data: when you pay by card, our reseller Paddle collects your payment details and billing address. We receive your email, country, the plan, and the status and reference numbers of the payment, never your full card number. Local payments (KHQR, ABA PayWay) are handled by those providers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and server logs, kept for security and to fix problems.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie, kirisid, which keeps you signed in during a session. It is first-party, set only on this domain, and carries nothing but an opaque session id. We set no advertising, analytics, or third-party cookies.
No tracking
- No third-party trackers, pixels, or ad networks.
- No analytics profiling of individuals.
- No personal data placed in URLs or query strings.
Your data
Your account details and anything you enter — properties, tenants, leads, messages — are stored in your own workspace's database and shown only to your team. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Ask Kiri (AI)
When you chat or talk with Ask Kiri, your message is sent to the AI provider configured for your workspace (for example Google Gemini or Groq) solely to generate a reply. API keys belong to your workspace and are stored encrypted.
Payments
Card payments for Kiri plans are handled by Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for our orders and is responsible for the payment data it collects under its own privacy notice. Payment and tax records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us run Kiri: hosting (DreamHost), AI model providers for Ask Kiri (see above), Paddle and the local payment providers for billing, and where the law requires it. Providers act under confidentiality and data-protection terms.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is open. When you close it, we delete or anonymise your workspace within a reasonable time, except records we must keep by law (such as billing records) and routine backups, which expire on their normal cycle.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including separate workspaces, encrypted storage of API keys, and access limited to your team. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@askkiri.com and we will reply within 30 days.
International transfers
Kiri is run from Asia and hosted in the United States, so your data may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service grows. We will post the new version here with a fresh date and tell you about material changes.
